ESG excursion to Radio Kootwijk
In the heart of the Veluwe, between the heath and sand dunes, between traces of red deer and wild boars, a radio broadcasting station got established in 1918. It’s not in operation anymore, but the imposing building still stands in the middle of the open heath and Western Europe’s largest active sand dunes, like a sphinx guarding the desert. The Environmental Sciences Group is hosting a guided excursion to this mystical place! On Saturday February 19th, 10:00-16:00, we will take the bus from campus. Bring €4 as an entry fee, and discover the wonders of Radio Kootwijk!
