Join us for a dive into a few choice chapters from The Second Sex by Simone de Beauvoir_ —because let’s be real, no one’s reading the whole thing cover to cover (except maybe that one overachiever—we see you 🤓).

This session, we’re exploring feminism through de Beauvoir’s eyes—flawed, fascinating, and firmly rooted in post-war existentialism 🌀. Expect strong takes, soft snacks, and a time-traveling look at gender politics in the 1940s.

We’ll chat about:

📉 Marxism (Vol 1, Ch. 3): gender meets class struggle

🌈 Queer theory (Vol 2, Ch. 4): identity, otherness, and maybe some existential dread

🪞 Sex work (Vol 2, Ch. 8): where things get messy, political, and real (it’s true contradictions galore)
