Aktief Slip Song Competition: Deadline [Board]

Due to the release of Covid 2: Return of the Lockdown, the board is postponing the deadline official competition for the Aktief Slip song/chant! Now you can submit your entries until Friday Week 3 of Period 4 (March 4).

Here is the full information once more, in case you need a refresher:

Guidelines:

• The song should be in English
• It should represent all Aktief Slip studies (BES, MES, MCL, MUE)
• Submit at least the lyrics. Recordings/videos are not necessary but may help make your entry stand out (especially if the song needs to be sung in a specific way or have a specific dance)
• There is no set length, but keep in mind the song should be easy for future members to memorize and sing!

Entries should be submitted to [email protected] with “Song Competition + Your Name(s)” on the subject line!

Deadline:

March 4, 2022. The winners will be decided via popular vote after this deadline and announced at a (hopefully) live event.

Note: you CAN use pre-existing songs for the background music, but you can also be entirely original if you prefer.
