Later this month in our third period we will be discussing the first book of this year which is A winter in Mallorca.

In the winter of 1838 the world famous feminist writer George Sands was caught in an affair and fled with her boyfriend Chopin to Mallorca to enjoy nature there. When on the island she wrote a winter on Mallorca. This book is an autobiographical travelogue and revenge piece about Mallorca. And dives into its nature, architecture and mainly the culture. If this sounds interesting to you which it should please message me and I will assign a chapter to you and give you a link to the book. During the book club we will all explain what happened in our assigned chapter and give our thoughts on it.
